What is Video Mystery Shopping?
A mystery shopper wearing a hidden camera poses as a customer and covertly video records their interaction with a sales associate. The purpose of the visit is to evaluate the performance of the sales associate. In states with a two-party consent requirement for audio/video recording, Insight Shops requires signed audio/video releases from all sales associates to be shopped.

We are looking for candidates who match the following criteria*:
- Are available weekdays from 10am to 6pm and have reliable transportation.
- Live in the continental United States ONLY.
- Have prior experience as a video mystery shopper.
- Desired demographics: women, minorities, veterans, millennials, and active adults (age 55+) all encouraged to apply.
- Are professional, detail-oriented, responsible, and calm under pressure.
- Can pass a criminal background check.
